March Wishlist

Hi to anybody that is still there since I've been away!

I know that I haven't stayed loyal to this blog at all, and that's something I've been feeling extremely guilty about.
But, as university comes to an end, I'm sure I'll be travelling more and doing more things, and will be able to blog about them a bit more!
I thought I'd start back slowly today, with one of my monthly wish lists that I have done in the past!
The whole point of these posts is that I show you all what I've been looking at and wanting every month and post about them. Although I do want to point that these will not always be new releases, and it doesn't mean I'll go out and purchase like, ten things every month! I just thought it'd be insightful and I know these posts used to do very well!

Cactus:
I make it known that I do enjoy a cactus or succulent. And I feel like I've cheated because I bought a cute little cactus right at the start of this month, so I guess I've checked this one off!

Journal:
At University this year, I am taking part in an autobiography module and was advised to start a diary. I wrote in one when I was younger, and it was mostly about how I hated every boy at my primary school and how I wanted the new Brat doll and world domination. I reckon if I was to write one now, it'd be more deep and insightful.

The Great Frog Merch:
Since going into their store in Carnaby Street and purchasing a ring for my birthday last year, I have been obsessed, and something I've wanted to grab is either one of their t-shirts or scarfs.

Polaroid Film:
As my birthday approaches next month, and I go on a little trip, I really need to stock up on my ol' instax film, but... can we discuss how pricey it is?!

Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter:
One word: dreamy. I saw recently that Jamie Genevieve had used this in one of her videos, so that I obviously meant that I need to grab my hands on one.

Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette:
I was on Beauty Bay recently looking though and came across these palettes! Although I'm not sure how new they are, I have my eye on the one with the red/burgundy tones!

Cat Eye Sunglasses:
These have literally been the rage on Instagram for such a long time, and I really want to see what all the fuss is about and whether they'd suit my massive head! I know Top Shop and ASOS stock ones similar to the picture, but as they've been so popular, I reckon you could find them anywhere!

Flat Chelsea Boots:
Bit of an odd one, but I have found that all of my heavy duty, black boots have a solid high heel. Although I've loved them, they're not overly conventional for everyday.

The Ordinary Toning Solution:
Again, not a new release but I've heard great things! I've been using the Lactic Acid from The Ordinary and so far, I really like how it's made my skin feel! I also heard that this solution is a bit of a dupe for the Pixi Glow Tonic.

The 20 Things You Might Not Know About Me Tag

Hi everyone, how's it going?
From deleting and chopping and changing my blog, I've realised that not many of you guys know much about me. Therefore, I thought a tag would be a fabulous way for everyone to find out every little detail (if you even want to, I'm pretty average).

1) How tall are you?
I am 5'5.5". Very specific I know, but my best gal is a bit shorter than me and she's only 5'5". I thought I was 5'6"/5'7" so I'm pretty psyched, I wish I was shorter, actually.

2) Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what is it?
As I said, I'm very average, I'm not really good at anything. I can bend my little finger a weird way, I'm a keen romance writer and I can stick a beer bottle between my bra and drink from it (#classybird #waterudoin #donttellpeoplethat)

3) What's your biggest blog related pet peeve?
Probably not being very good at editing my blog and making it look pretty, that makes me sad.

4) What's your biggest non-blog related pet peeve?
The smell of quavers and wotsits. I don't know if it's my biggest pet peeve because I have many but those crisps terrify me.

5) What's your favourite song?
Goodnight Moon by Go Radio, Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran, She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5 and Puppy Love by The Wildlife (if we're talking romantical, there's many more but I'm an acoustic kinda gal).

6) What's your favourite Etsy shop that isn't yours?
Um, I don't own one and don't have a specific favourite shop, but there is a girl that designs 'What would Blair Waldorf do?' pencils that I need in my life.

7) What's your favourite way to spend your free time when you're alone?
Probably be a right girly girl and pamper myself, watch Disney Movies or The Office US or just be a right man and play Fifa on my iPad.

8) What's your favourite junk food?
CAKE.


9) Do you have a pet or pets? If so what kind and what are their names?
I do. I have a black cat (I believe a Bombay or I could be stupid) named Cody/Lucifer bc he looks like Lucifer from Cinderella/Mister. He has so many nicknames he doesn't know whether he's coming or going half the time. But I love him and he makes me happy, and I'll probably end up a lonely old lady with cats and a pug.

10) What are your number one fiction and non-fiction books?
For a lover of English I feel a bit stupid in saying that Non-Fiction books are not my thing, I prefer to live in a fairy land. But, if anybody has recommendations please leave them below.
For Fiction however I'm very stereotypical, I love The Great Gatsby, The Noughts and Crosses trilogy, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Looking for Alaska, The Notebook (any of Nicholas Sparks' work) and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

11) What's your favourite beauty product or tool?
Any MAC Makeup and the Urban Decay Naked Palettes.

12) When were you last embarrassed? What happened?
This may be really explicit and embarrassing but I guess I need to share: I danced at my 18th birthday and decided to do the lift to 'I've had the time of my life' with my boyfriend... the lift when great but as I came down my boobs had like come out of my dress...

13) If you could only drink one beverage besides water for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Honestly, some type of Costa christmas hot drink or malibu and cranberry...

14) What's your favourite movie?
Honestly, no I can't answer with just one and I'm bound to forget my ultimate favourites but: Disney Princess Films, The Hobbit is quite good, My Fair Lady, The Notebook, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Ten Things I Hate About You and loads of like romance.

15) What were you in High School: Prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist, prep?
Since I live in the UK, I sat in the library even though I wasn't supposed to because I hated the cold, I hated everybody and didn't agree with the idea of hierarchy or the stupid ideology that popularity meant everything so I just kind of sat and made sarcastic comments to the populars and provided teachers with witty comments every now and then. I was one of those kids.

16) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Australia or America.

17) PC or MAC?
I have a PC but want a MAC.

18) Last romantic gesture from a crush, date boy/girlfriend, spouse?
Okay this was like a while now but the first is that my favourite Disney DVDs were on sale and I really wanted them and debated it but my boyfriend still told me to not do it because they were still pricey for DVDs, anyway he went back to get his CD whilst I went to get our drinks, we met up and as we left he asked me to look in the bag and see if he got the right CD or he'd have to go back, I looked in there and saw Tangled and Snow White and it was the cutest thing ever okay- I really love little things like that.

19) Favourite Celebrity?
Edward Sheeran.

20) What blogger do you secretly want to be best friends with?

Welcome to Lily's Blog!

IT'S BEEN WAITING FOR YOU!

Hiya everyone, I wanted to do a quick little awkward post to get the introduction out of the way. I'm Lily, and this is my blog that I've actually owned a little while now but I got lazy and hated all of my posts so deleted them all. But Lily's back with a brand new theme! I really apologise to all of my readers that have had to see my blogs deleted a large number of times, being a perfectionist is really difficult sometimes.

However, I'm beginning all over again, and I'm really excited to because I think I've found my niche. My aim is to make my photography better because it got so sloppy before. I hope to be posting every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday minus like, tomorrow and I'm going to do blogs on fashion and lifestyle (if anyone is interested in the boring life of nearly 18 year old female).

I just want to say I'm really excited for this new journey to begin, and I hope you are all on board to come with me!
